Research Interests
Views of development practice, structural determinants of health
or the political economy of health which revolves around analyzing
how wider social, political and economic factors lead to social
and health inequalities. The detrimental effects of the socio
political system on people's well being especially children
and their families, using qualitative research approach.
Research Projects
Currently co-investigator in a study on Impact of a community
based RCT to improve mental health of Palestinian refugee youth
in Borj el Barajneh.
Investigating possible contributions to frameworks and measures
for health inequities based on research findings from my recent
studies with children and their families in Lebanon.
